Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro Smartphones to Offer Quad Rear Camera Setup As you can see in the image above, the letters 5 and 5 Pro are clearly visible and there are quad cameras as well. Realme chose not to reveal the camera specifications of its Realme 5 and 5 Pro smartphones. Right now, Realme is showcasing the 64MP camera technology in New Delhi and the sensor will be Samsung’s ISOCELL GW1 that was announced earlier this year. Realme also confirmed that it would be the first brand to launch a smartphone with a 64MP camera in India before Diwali this year. That said, Realme is skipping the Realme 4 series of phones, of which the details are unknown right now. The 64MP sensor will most likely be present on the upcoming Realme X smartphone and it will also feature quad cameras. So all the three upcoming phones from Realme will offer quad-camera setup on the back. Realme X to Get a Successor Very Soon Realme X was launched less than a month ago and Realme is already talking about the successor for it. The Realme X is the company’s first phone with an AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner and pop-up selfie camera. It will be interesting to see what upgrades the upcoming Realme X phone will bring to the table. When the Realme X was announced, fans were bit disappointed considering the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset inside. Hopefully, the upcoming Realme X phone will come with Snapdragon 730 chipset inside similar to the Redmi K20. Also, the Realme 3 and 3 Pro were announced in March and April respectively, and within six months, we’re seeing upgrades for both the phones. This is something that haunted Xiaomi and OnePlus for years now and Realme is following the same trend. For example, OnePlus was often criticised by the followers for bringing a new phone every six months and the same goes with Xiaomi. The Realme 1 was launched in May 2018, followed by Realme 2 in September 2018, then the Realme 3 arrived in March 2019, and now, we’re looking at the Realme 5 arriving sometime in October. That said, Realme is bringing major upgrades to the table like the quad-camera setup on the Realme 5 series.
