Airtel Hello Tunes Across 1 Million Songs and 15 Languages This new update is courtesy of a feature spotted on Wynk music app, which is Airtel’s answer to JioSaavn. The Wynk music app is one of the most downloaded ones on the Google Play Store when it comes to music streaming category. Now when Airtel users open their Wynk music app, they will be able to see a pop-up informing them about the new free hello tunes feature. The pop-up informs that users of Airtel will be able to set hello tunes absolutely free of cost and they will be able to choose from 1 million and more songs across 15 languages. Not only this, but the subscriber will also be able to change hello tunes at any time using the Wynk Music app only. It is worth noting that at one time, the subscribers used to be charged up to Rs 40 per month for a hello tune in the name of download charges and others. However, with the coming of Reliance Jio that stopped as Jio was providing free caller tunes to its users of their choice, without any cost and any hassle of changing. All the subscribers had to do was select a song of their choice in the JioMusic app, and it would become their caller tune. This new move by Airtel makes the process of setting a hello tune just as simple. Unlimited Hello Tunes for Airtel Subscribers To recall, a few years back, the process of setting a caller tune was filled with hassle and involved a lot of SMS sending, activation codes and what not. But thanks to Reliance Jio and the self-care and music streaming apps, this has become very easy. Previously, the subscribers also had to go through an ordeal to remove their hello tune, now with the help of Wynk music that would be simple too for Airtel subscribers. In case you have a Hello Tune currently on your Airtel number, and you would like to change it or remove it, you can do so by installing the Wynk app on your phone. If you simply want to remove the hello tune, then you can do so by dialling the 155223 number of sending an SMS STOP on the same number.
