COAI Appreciates TN Government
Supporting this proposal, the Principal Secretary IT of Tamil Nadu has instructed that the District Collectors have to take necessary legal action against those who damage or obstruct the approved existing or upcoming telecom infrastructure. Also, they have requested the authorities to take the right legal action against miscreants who use the misleading narrative, which is related to EMF emission from the mobile towers, in order to obstruct the telecom infrastructure’s installation. Also, the government has instructed the authorities to share the approvals for OFC or Tower installation with the nearest SHO to avoid any delays caused within the administrative jurisdiction. This way, it is possible to safeguard the tower as well. Today, India is on the threshold of witnessing an enormous socio-economic transformation, which is typified by rapid growth. As per the new vision that was shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the new Atmanirbhar Bharat by 2022, it is essential to build a robust and secure state-of-the-art telecommunication network by offering seamless coverage. Working with the mission of providing seamless connectivity and the Government’s vision to provide benefits to the empowerment of citizens of the country.
